Biography: Ms. Roberts is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Connecticut. She is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida. She is a member of the Hartford County Bar Association and a member of the Real Property section of the Connecticut Bar Association. Ms. Roberts’s practice is concentrated primarily in the area of commercial and residential real estate law including acquisition, sale, lending, development, land use, environmental compliance and permitting. She counsels clients on related matters such as landlord/tenant matters; brokerage agreements; commercial, office, industrial and retail leasing; title; title insurance; survey matters; phase I and phase II site assessment review and analysis; and formation of partnerships, limited partnerships, corporations and limited liability companies. Ms. Roberts published “Letters of Intent in Real Estate Transactions”, Connecticut Law Tribune, September, 2000 and is a frequent lecturer on commercial real estate topics including such matters as closing procedures, title insurance and title matters as well as a variety of other topics.
