J. Mac Daly
John “Mac” Daly’s practice is primarily focused on commercial real estate and business transactions. Mac handles the full spectrum of these matters and has assisted clients with entity formation, commercial real estate sales and acquisitions, condominium development and joint ventures.
Mac has worked with a variety of clients including developers, owners of all property types, and municipalities and schools. During his tenure at Boston University School of Law Mac was a member of the Boston University & Massachusetts Institute of Technology Start-Up Clinic, where he assisted start-up companies with entity formation, trademarks and corporate strategy, among other start-up related tasks. At Boston University, Mac served as the President of the Entrepreneur and Finance Club and served as a legal intern for The Boston Red Sox, Fenway Sports Group, Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. and a Boston-based law firm.
Mac brings to his law practice his prior experience working at major financial service institutions, national brokerages and the Connecticut State Treasurer’s Office.
Mac was born and raised in Farmington, Connecticut. He graduated from Trinity College and Avon Old Farms School. Mac loves all things outdoors and can be found on skis, mountain bike, road bikes, golf courses or in his garden when not in the office. Mac also served as the Vice President of the Bantam Homebrew Club at Trinity, which has sparked a continued interest in home brewing beer ever since.
