She has experience representing a range of clients – from land developers to landlords, small tenants to large landowners, families, restaurateurs, farmers, medical practitioners, and others. Jennifer’s passion for real estate and the law, combined with an undergraduate degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in regional planning (and prior careers in both fields), positions her to understand her clients’ needs and provide relevant, real-world advice from her unique perspective.

Jennifer has been practicing with MacDermid, Reynolds & Glissman, P.C.’s Raleigh office since 2021. Prior to that, she practiced in the Triangle area for nearly 10 years with several other Raleigh-based firms.
Before turning to a career in law, Jennifer earned her undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia and afterwards spent a year as an engineer with the large international engineering firm Parsons Brinckerhoff Quade & Douglass, now WSP. She then earned her master’s degree in Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and took a role as an urban planner with the Louis Berger Group, also now part of WSP, rising to the level of Senior Transportation Planner before attending law school.
Jennifer enjoys drawing on her experience as an engineer and urban planner – the time spent analyzing plans for development, and presenting before City and Town Councils – when she practices law and in her efforts to help her clients.
Jennifer has previously been designated as a North Carolina Rising Star in Real Estate in the 2019 and 2021 Issues of the North Carolina Super Lawyers magazine, and has been included in the 2024 and 2025 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® for her practice in Real Estate Law. The Super Lawyers designation is based on regional balloting by attorneys, third-party research, and a peer review process encompassing myriad practice areas. The Best Lawyers designation is based on a peer review methodology. An explanation of the Best Lawyers methodology can be found here, and the Super Lawyers methodology can be found here.
Jennifer is a member of T-CREW (the Triangle Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women) and ULI Triangle (the Triangle Chapter of the Urban Land Institute).
