William practices commercial real estate law, concentrating on commercial leasing (including office, retail and industrial leasing), real estate development, property and site acquisition and assemblage, the sale and disposition of commercial properties, real estate finance and borrower representation, and joint venture and investment structuring.
William also advises and represents clients in matters involving construction, real estate brokerage and asset management, title and title insurance, general transactional due diligence, land use, environmental and permitting compliance, and land and environmental conservation.
William is based out of the firm’s Raleigh, North Carolina office which he helped launch in January, 2020 after spending eight years practicing in the firm’s Hartford, Connecticut office. Although located in North Carolina, William continues to represent and serve clients in both Connecticut and North Carolina.
William is a Durham, North Carolina native and currently lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, with his wife, a pediatrician at a local hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina.
